Sardine Salad
(Sardalya Salatası)
1 bunch green onion
1 bunch dill
½ bunch parsley
½ pound sardines, canned
Juice of 1 lemon
6 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
Chop the green onion, dill, and parsley as you wish and place them in a mixing bowl. Strain sardines and put them in another mixing bowl. Whip lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, and salt in a bowl and add that over the sardines. Take sardines out of the sauce one by one and mix them with the greens. Add the leftover sauce to the salad on the serving plate. If you wish, you can place the sardines on the serving plate under the greens.
Serves 4.
